Summary of the Game
The
object of the game is to be the highest scoring player after all rounds of play are
completed. This is achieved by collecting Dream Teams and other scoring cards
during each game. There are two card decks used during each game: the Archive deck
and the Club deck. Players are dealt 11 cards during each match. Each player has a
Transfer List, which can be used to exchange cards with other players. The Fans
Forum cards can change a game. Players use the Club deck to improve their Dream Teams. Were the Greatest contains all the
cards that can be used in Dream Teams and other scoring cards. This deck also contains a
variety of enhancement cards that can greatly increase the value of your Dream Teams.
Cards can be put up for transfer to other players using the Transfer List. At convenient
points during play events from the Archive can be recalled to help a player improve
his score. This can be a gamble, though, since this deck also includes the bad times as
well as the great times during the history of the club. When the game ends the scores are
totalled and added to the players total. There are strict rules governing when a
game ends and the final scores. Skill is needed because tactical plays by opponents can
still lead to your teams being devastated.
