19th NOVEMBER 2005 BAND CONCERT by West Bergholt Concert Band

On Saturday 19th November 2005 the Colchester Local Group, in conjunction with the West Bergholt Convert Band held a fundraising concert.

Over 200 people were in attendance and the evening raised over £800 for Amnesty International.

17th SEPTEMBER 2005 Sponsored Ipswich to Colchester 20 Mile Power Walk

On Saturday 17th September 2005 I completed the power-walk from the Friends Meeting House, Fonnereau Road, Ipswich to the Friends Meeting House, Church Street, Colchester.

I covered the 19.7 miles in 4 hours and 9 minutes at an average speed of 4.75 miles per hour.

As at 1st March 2006 the total raised was £846.

Many thanks to all who have supported me and taken an interest in this fund-raising venture.
